This policy explains what Easy Label Forge collects for website operation, purchases and license activation. It is written for transparency and does not replace advice from a qualified legal professional.
Who we are
Easy Label Forge is the publisher of the Easy Label Forge desktop application and the website easylabelforge.com. Commercial purchases are processed through Gumroad.
Data collected for license activation
When you enter or verify a license key, Easy Label Forge may send the following data to the Easy Label Forge license server:
- Gumroad license key and product/tier information;
- a device identifier generated by the application;
- the Windows computer name;
- the application version;
- activation status, seat usage, activation date and last verification date.
Project files, label artwork, 3D assets and exported textures are not uploaded by the license activation system.
Why we process this data
License and activation data is used to validate purchases, enforce seat limits, prevent abuse, provide support and maintain the licensing service. The usual legal basis is performance of the license contract and legitimate interest in protecting the service from misuse.
Purchases and payments
Payments, receipts and buyer account data are handled by Gumroad under Gumroad’s own privacy policy. Easy Label Forge may receive purchase metadata such as customer email, product name, sale ID, license key status and subscription/refund events.
Retention
License records are kept as long as needed to provide the software license, support customers, enforce seat limits and comply with legal obligations. Server logs are kept only for operational security and troubleshooting for a reasonable period.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or limitation of your personal data by contacting us. Some data may need to be retained where required for license management, accounting, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
